WELCOME TO TOPSHOP READING!


We are Topshop Reading! Set in the heart of Royal Berkshire, sat on the bed of River Thames and home of the biggest music festival. A University town, Reading thrives on young culture, street fashion, music and arts.  And Topshop is situated in the town centre within the popular Oracle shopping centre. Because of it's location, closeness to the M4, and great access from the train station Topshop Reading doesn't just cater for the local towns people but also those surrounding burrows.

INTRODUCTION TO TS READING



Because we are the home of Reading Festival it's only normal to go huge for 'festival' this summer.

It is important, to be on top of the high street and in bring festival pieces to the public before anyone else. Our creative assistant Char dresses our window, with great inspiring outfits and maniquins that money map us £2000 in the first week.

MOD STORE


We are getting bigger!

AW13 will see the launch of the brand new Topshop Reading store. We are expanding, doubling in size and turnover. Growing from a 3 million pound store to a 6 million pound store.

Staying in our current location, the store will expanding, taking over the shop space that is next door to us. Built to the LA spec,

CWC: E-Digital


Our E-Digital results have been amazing. Over the last month we have had 84 responses with a 93% satisfaction score.

Customers always comment on our lovely staff, their knowledge, eagerness to help and genuine conversation. We have great stock, everything is easy to find and no problem is to big to solve!

Team Leader Anna, takes a great care in looking after our E-Digital results, making sure to pass all results and comments on to staff and motivate them to keep our store a great environment to work in.

DEVELOPING YOUR SKILLS


At TS Reading we thrive on developing our staff and skills to there best potential. Here Char our Creative Assistant is creating a visual representation for our staff to map their progress within the company. As part of entering the new mod store, we want to create and enhance the team atmosphere, ensure everyone knows they are valued, and appreciated - From team leaders to the part timers, the BOH team and concession staff we are all the same and are part of the Topshop family.. It is important to us to keep this atmosphere amoung the staff, and one of the ways we do this is, is to add all new team members to our family tree, starting the TS journey.

JUNE 1ST




Our June 1st event was a great success. It was a chance to shine a light on all our staff and show them our appreciation for there hardwork and dedication for the store. We all crowded around on the shopfloor, watching the June 1st DVD, holding group discussions, handing out our awards, wristbands and most importantly shared all our ideas for building a better store.

Team members were really thrilled with receiving there awards and it was great to acknowledge the staff's hardwork to other staff, and let them know how much we appreciate there work and couldn't do it without them!

At the end of the night, we held a small survey asking everyone to write down one suggestion to improve ourselves as team members, our customer service and the Reading store. There were 3 answers that kept coming up, - 1. Build relationship with customers 2.Inspire the customer 3. Team theme days. Putting them together we came up with our customer manifesto 'To drive service through team theme days, inspire our customers and build relationships with them!'



Special thanks went to the BOH team, as they are the unsung hero's of the team, but we lovely them dearly and all there hard work!

FASHION ROLE MODEL


Being a fashion role mole is not only a fun part of working at Topshop Reading; but also an important part of the business.
Customers love seeing our staff in their favourite Topshop pieces and are encouraged to try out pieces they wouldn't normally like. It also acts as great inspiration amoung the team members to experiment with their style, and add quirky pieces.

This are fabulous Team Leader Karly who won our 'Fashion Role Model' award at our June 1st event. She always looks effortless and chic in the latest Topshop pieces.

We love to encourage staff to experiment with style and have with there fashion, and since our June 1st event we have come up with 'team theme' days! Our first is this weekend and everyone is excited to take part!


KNOW YOUR STUFF

It's so important to us that we are in the know of everything that goes on at the world of Topshop Reading. One of the ways we work to keep everyone up to date is to update our Facebook page with any new items, floor moves, trends and best sellers.
